Dire Wolf Digital Announce The Wheel of Time Board Game

Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy The Wheel of Time is finally on it’s way to grace board game nights. Having previously been seen in gaming circles as a Collectible Card Game (1999 by Precedence Entertainment) and as a Tabletop Roleplaying Game (2001 by Wizards of the Coast) the series has surprisingly never been the subject of a board game until now. Dire Wolf Digital, best known for their superb Dune: The Imperium and Clank! board games, have announced War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time, a two-player board game.

Two books titled "Ereb Altor" are displayed side by side. On the left, "The Copper Sea" features an illustration of a large sea serpent alongside a sailing ship, with waves crashing around them. On the right, the "Ereb Altor Setting Guide" showcases a dramatic scene of a knight in armor confronting skeletal figures, with a stained glass window depicting a saint in the background. Both covers prominently feature the title "Ereb Altor" in bold red letters.
