Dire Wolf Digital Announce The Wheel of Time Board Game

Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy The Wheel of Time is finally on it’s way to grace board game nights. Having previously been seen in gaming circles as a Collectible Card Game (1999 by Precedence Entertainment) and as a Tabletop Roleplaying Game (2001 by Wizards of the Coast) the series has surprisingly never been the subject of a board game until now. Dire Wolf Digital, best known for their superb Dune: The Imperium and Clank! board games, have announced War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time, a two-player board game.

A dramatic illustration features five dragons emerging from a volcanic landscape, each representing a different elemental color: red, blue, green, black, and white. The dragons are depicted with fierce expressions, and they are breathing streams of colored energy—red, blue, green, and yellow—into a central glowing D20 die, which is emblazoned with the letters "DM." The background is filled with fiery and smoky textures, enhancing the intense atmosphere of the scene.
