Having just previewed their new Aeldari codex, dice, datasheet cards, vehicles and infantry, Games Workshop have revealed the Aeldari leaders, the Phoenix Lords.
The first of these is Asurmen, the Hand of Asur. As befits the very first Phoenix Lord, the founder of the Dire Avengers and the Path of the Warrior, this is a particularly regal miniature that will make a fabulous addition to your Aeldari army.
Asurmen is joined by Jain Zar. Also known as the Storm of Silence, Zar is the originator of the Howling Banshees and the first to master ‘the scream that steals’.
Next is Baharroth, the Cry of the Wind. Along with his Swooping Hawks, Baharroth strafes the enemy with las bolts before engaging in melee. He then strikes his enemies down with a sword said to be forged in the midst of a supernova.
Inspired by the mythical Dragon of Aeldari, Fuegan, the Burning Lance, uses fire and his fellow Fire Dragons to carbonize his enemies.
Finally, there is Maugan Ra, the Harvester of Souls. Unlike his brethren, Maugan eschews the use of bladed weapons in favour of the Reaper Launcher. He also totally rocks the iconic Dark Reaper, black armour decorated with skulls look.
