Rick Priestley Releases a New Classic

Just as Games Workshop have released a tribute to an old classic, Wombat Wargames have unveiled a new masterwork by Rick Priestley. 

Entitled Space Battles: a Spacefarers Guide, this new game uses a diceless system to bring ship-to-ship space combat to the tabletop. Driven by standard playing cards, it's quick and easy to learn whilst also being tactically nuanced.

Whilst Space Battles can be used as both a generic starship combat system, it also boasts its own backstory and factions. These serve to underline Rick Priestley's reputation as not only one of the industry's greatest games designer, but also an outstanding creator of settings and lore.
