There’s a host of new Emperor’s Children goodies on the way, and Games Workshop have previewed two new detachments for these devotees of Slaanesh.
The Children are divided into six factions, including the braggadocious Coterie of the Conceited. These boastful braggarts make a virtue of brazen boasts and pompous promises. Their Pledges to the Dark Prince detachment rule will see these promises earn Pact Points if they’re met; these Pact Points can be used to buy buffs for your army, Failure to honour those pledges,, however, will see your entire army suffer a variety of penalties.

Coterie of the Conceited character models can be buffed yet further with the Pledge of Eternal Servitude and Embrace the Pain enhancement and stratagem. The former grants the target model a second chance at life, whilst the latter allows other players to redirect attacks on other Slaanesh models.

Slaanesh, like any self-respecting Chaos god, likes a little rivalry for it affections. It is no doubt, therefore, gratified to see that the jockeying between the Coterie and its rivals, Slaanesh’s Chosen. The Chosen are also divided by intense rivalries between its movers and shakers, with its warlords subject to the capricious mercies of the Internal Rivalries detachment rule. This rule sees the favour of Slaanesh—and the buffs that bequeaths—swap from one unit to another as those units inflict kills on the enemy.
As with the the Coterie, the Slaanesh’s Chosen enjoy the benefits of their own stratagems, namely Beautiful Death and Heightened Jealousy:

Both of these detachments also benefit from The Emperor’s Children new Thrill Seekers army rule. This rule plays up the Emperors’ Children’s supernatural agility and enables them to move between fresh targets at whim.

This is very much a potted reprise of a more in depth article. If you want the complete lowdown on these new rules, then see the Games Workshop website for the full Slaanesh skinny.
