Body
After many long months punctuated by bouts of bloody conflict, the warbands cutting their way through the Ravening Ruin have their eyes on the final prize – the wrecked Seraphon temple ship Talaxis is near. But the heart of the Gnarlwood is a tangled mess of ravenous beasts and lethal plantlife, giving rise to great swamps overflowing with corpses. Talaxis will not give up its treasures easily.
Warcry isn't being left out from the Adepticon Previews! We see a new box set with two warbands - the Teratic Cohorts of the Ossiarch Bonereapers and the Twistweald of the Sylvaneth.
These minis look ace!!! and if the terrain shown in the images are included I may be tempted by this box. Not sure what Warcry is like so I may go watch some videos.
Nestled alongside the two warbands, excited gamers will find a Ravening Gnarloak. aparently, it's a carnivorous tree that is eager to feast on flesh and roaming around the Gnarlwood on "powerful gnarled limbs". Urh, yeah... ok.
There is also an exclusive Warband Tome: Briar and Bone. A banquet of lore, illustrations, rules for both warbands and the Ravening Gnarloak, as well as quests, background tables, a shared campaign arc, and a new Battleplan Generator.
Official announcement can be found here.
Anyone play Warcry? What's it like??
