Dawn of Glass illustration

I am working with Samuel Walter on an illustration concept for his Sci-fi/Cyberpunk ttrpg "Dawn of Glass".
We settled on this monochrome, semi-realistic look with neon accents. The neon color will be determined by the colored border of the chapter the illustration gets used, so the pink might change after the layout is finalized.

We wanted to come up with a recognizable visual style that, on the other hand, will not drain the pockets of my client too much, as this is a one man project for now.
I think we came up with something that looks like more then just a compromise. :)
