Model Release Schedule

Well, that didn't quiet go to plan now did it.

So, ha this was meant to be he big look Spikey in 45mm not one but two for your gaming and painting pleasure post.
Something went a little wrong. So I was punching up the detail and trying to get him to be really crisp and clean and all easy to paint, I do like a nice tidy miniature and I know I keep clutter to the minimum so you have a fetching model without all the tiny fiddly bits to deal with. But I like that detail is there to really standout. So what went wrong. Well the left eye has vanished. I printed out the prototype and went yep need to work on the beard spikes (they may have to go they keep snapping) but not one of the test prints had a left eye. So instead of spending the day building a nice promo video and painting up a couple of Spikeys, doing all the photo shoots and going here please buy this awesome 45mm model from Final Games UK. I have had to re work the head for the eye which has then caused more reworks as other problems have appeared (resin well internally was an issue). Including the fact that if i try and print 6 in one go the printer can't cope with the suction force. So this in turn has kind of delayed the whole here get your gaming Spikey and put him in what ever game you feel like moment.
Whats the plan now then? Well I am going to rework him one more time, maybe get rid of the beard spikes as I can't afford to throw them away every time one snaps, and then, well then I guess I need to actually sit down and try and write the rules for real and get them released. So District is coming. It might not be this side of the Download Festival but it is coming and soon as that is about to be all I work on for the next few weeks.

Here is hoping something comes of this.

Thanks for reading.
Dave.
